Terrible Baby x La Borracha Pop-up

On October 10, Terrible Baby at Eaton HK throws open its doors to La Borracha from Accra, Ghana for the series finale. La Borracha — literally “the drunk woman” — the technicolor cantina that has redefined Ghana’s cocktail scene since 2021 and earned recognition on the 50 Best Discovery West Africa.

Bringing it to Hong Kong is Seraphine Afladey, a rising force in West Africa’s bar world. Starting as a bar back in 2021, Seraphine climbed the ranks to become bar supervisor, earning early acclaim when she took second place at a Beefeater cocktail competition with less than a year of experience. She went on to reach the final round of the prestigious Beam International Blend World Scholarship in Barcelona, placing second overall from thousands of global entrants. Today, she continues to represent La Borracha internationally, from global pop-ups to leading seminars at Nairobi Bar Week, and is celebrated for her fearless creativity and infectious energy behind the bar.
