Taking the helm at Terrible Baby on Wednesday, July 16, is Giulia Cuccurullo, Head Bartender at Artesian Bar at The Langham London and one of the industry’s most acclaimed talents. Originally from Naples, Cuccurullo made history as the first woman to lead the bar at Artesian, a venue widely regarded as a global benchmark for cocktail innovation, with a fan following that includes Stanley Tucci. Located within The Langham Hotel, Artesian has received numerous accolades over the past decade, including recognition from The World’s 50 Best Bars, The Pinnacle Guide, CLASS Bar Awards, and Top 500 Bars, cementing its place among the world’s most celebrated drinking destinations. The evening is sponsored by Michter’s Distillery, Siete Misterios Mezcal, and Northeast Wines & Spirits.
Cuccurullo’s one-night-only appearance in Hong Kong follows the recent launch of Ultimo, the final chapter in Artesian’s acclaimed Futureproof Trilogy. Each drink in Ultimo highlights a single ingredient, creatively transformed through preservation and layering to unlock unexpected flavor profiles. The evening will feature signature serves such as Apple, a Champagne cocktail twist inspired by apple crumble with Johnnie Walker Blue, Courvoisier VSOP, and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut; and Wild Strawberry, a refreshing, fruit-forward twist on the classic lychee Martini, made with Ketel One, Aperol, and wild strawberry chutney.
